For what it's worth, I didn't see any other option other than trying to recoup some money by parting out, as I have seen others do in the past in order to move into another bike since the one mentioned in this thread was deemed NMC by a service center I was working with.You offered a bike to the forum with no serious intention of following through. You could have asked for advice and been straight up, but you chose otherwise. The board is full of timewasters in the classifieds and you dear reader are part of that problem, what a joke being threatened with your manly man words. Any hostility you may detect is a projection of your own making inside your own head, in the words of Deputy U.S. Marshall Gerard , I don't care.
good luck with the bike.;
After receiving a few offers for parts, I admittedly realized that taking apart a bike that would have remaining parts in a public garage may not have been the best COA as I don't have tools/stands/ and may cause issues for the others in my building.
When I got a couple offers for the entire bike, that seemed like the best route but due to shipping cost coupled with my asking price and the potential costs associated with fixing the bike, those offers fell through.
Now, If you're offering you're garage and assistance in the tear down of the bike, I will gladly have it delivered and we can meet to discuss the manly aspects you speak of while either turning wrenches or any other education you believe you can provide.
On the flip side, if you truly"don't care" then seems like you putting in energy to continue this back and forth says otherwise.
To the others who actually tried to work with me and provide assistance, please be patient as I will take this thread down to avoid this public spectacle since no one has accepted my offer to meet yet.
If mods are reading, please feel free to delete this thread if you can since I don't sit behind a computer for work, so it will be a few more hours before I can access a laptop to delete it, myself.
Thanks again.
