More Bling - DP Billet Fuel Tank Cap

I wish I could have this one.

Well, I can, but once I will get my eyes off the bike, my fuel will instantly evaporate...

Anyway, that's a very good bling!

Pick mine up this Friday along with cf rear hugger. Thought about gas evaporating but then I don't let the bike out of my sight very often!! I'm more concerned about it sliding off the bike when I fill up. Have to figure out best place to "store" it whilst filling up.

1098Rman,

You will not find it many places on the web as it has only recently been released.

It is an original Ducati Performance part, otherwise I would not of said "DP" ;-)

I have attached a couple of further "PROOF" photos for you.

I like the original one over this part. I like having a lock as well. It's the New Yorker in me.

who cares what it looks like off the bike. Get some installed photos :)

The dude wanted proof that it was not knock-off.

Next up .. the DP Levers. Then they are on the bike .. in the meantime I am too busy riding the bike :)

Very good work CaliDuc.

Would love to see the levers and cap fitted, to gauge the overall look :)

Fitted my DP heal guards last night BTW - nice :)

I think I'm with the New Yorker (CT) and like the stock LOCKING cap better. I actually held this one in my hand last week when I was part shopping and it didnt do a damn thing for me. Spent the cash on the new series of CRG levers instead.

Thanks XBOX.

I am just running the bike in and then I will have the Fuel Cap, Levers, Carbon Air Conveyors and Switch Cover installed. Due to a busy schedule this will not be to mid July.

The DP heal guards are very sweet and they put you on the path for the DP rear-sets ;-). If you look at the current pegs on the bike you can really tell that the DP rear-sets are meant to be on the bike (similar metals, etc).

This video shows you the rear-sets on the BSB Panigale ..

Thank you CaliDuc.

As we have said before, it's a very slippery slope into the dark world of DP parts ;)
