After investigating MM WSBK & Motec BSB systems I found that Motec has a WSBK system comparable to MM SRT, it's in current use in WSBK, Ben Fox has it installed over here on a AMA bike it is approx half the price of MM the Motec I02 software looks amazingly powerful tool Motec East USA confirmed it is plug-play
with several downloadable base maps. Model M130 GPR complete with harness
Full traction control linked with lean angle, power up / auto blip down shift, anti wheelie, dual lamba, individual cyl maps & trims just a few of its features.

FYI BSB series use M170 only ECU difference is that 170 uses Dinse (mil spec)
"Autosport" style sensor connectors, and they have to use the base model No TC up/down shift and believe they do not even allow closed loop fueling ie no lambda's

Seriously thinking about going for the WSBK system

Didn't know they were plug and play now. Used to have to get a custom harness to make it work. If you have Ben Fox nearby as a resource, I would jump on that. There is a writeup in the RRW issue where they test the Attack CRT bike and discuss a Motech setup. That particular one was actually set up to learn the track on it's own!

The key is having a resource available to set it up and support it, same thing with the Marelli system, none of this stuff is "mail order" technology. I know Ben's had good luck with the Motec system, I'm sure it works. Whether it works as well as Marelli SRT, I can't say since I've never tried it. At that level, it's more a function of the programming than it is the software and hardware itself, and from my experience with the SRT kit it's dialed in very well, "almost" to the plug-and-play level, just need a good baselining session to get things fine-tuned. I've made very few changes to mine all year, once we got it set up with the tires I'm running and got the fueling dialed in for my bike (which only took 1 track day) it's been flawless ever since.

That's want I've heard from others re MM, from what Ben was saying the Motec the same at nearly half the price.
