Motodynamic Integrated Tail Light

Thank you so much, but the time and effort to remove it and replace it with the original would be a bear.

I will let it stay with the bike, but i do appreciate the offer

Buying your prototype at above market value would be cheaper (in terms of my time and overall cost of materials that I'm not likely to be able to buy 1-at-a-time) then doing it myself.

Have you considered letting someone take it off your hands for the right price?

I would definitely prefer this in red as well.

btw, do the 1199s and 1299s have identical rear light assemblies? The tail fairing is different, but hopefully that's the only thing they changed...

Well for anyone else who may have a prototype, I am interested.

To make things easier, I can include a CW integrated taillight (or whatever other brand, they are all effectively the same). I have one installed now as a placeholder until Motodynamic gets their .... together, so it would be a direct swap/5-minute job.

Otherwise come September I'm just going to start building my own. On the plus side, those who want one with red plastics (in lieu of smoke) could get one - depending on how labor intensive this is (and if it's really worth the extra cost to anyone in the end). Bah! This is annoying.

Well "September" passed by.. Any updates in your build up? or you too are in "TBD" mode.. Cheers!

Heads up, looks like Motodynamic updated the status of the tailight to "PRODUCTION HALTED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE."

I still have hopes for it. They sent out an email on May 25 and at the bottom it has "Pending release: TBA", and has 2012-2015 Ducati 899/1199/1299 Panigale Squential LED Tail Lights"

Although I have seen the "Production halted until further notice", this still gives me hope that my favorite maker of integrated tail lights (I have bought 5 tail lights from them), will be releasing one for the 1299 S...

What gives me the most hope... They have an "In development" section, and it's not listed there. In the development section they have listed the 2015+ Yamaha R1...

So... Still keeping my fingers crossed.

I don't understand the big deal. There are many solutions on the market. Best one I've seen s NRC or just custom mounting slim LEDS within the taillights.

Well - not sure what to think, but the status has changed again to:

PRODUCTION RESUMED ETA: END OF SUMMER 2016 (https://www.motodynamic.com/2012-20...anigale-sequential-led-tail-lights-smoke.html )

I won't believe it until I see them for sale :)

Guess this is the Panigales vaporware project :D

What a stupid company. Everyone would have bought this. But when they will have finished "developing" it and finally start production, the Panigale will already have reached it's End-Of-Life cycle.

Anyway, I ordered an Ardunio dev board and do it myself.

Gecko, which one did you order, the mini arduino board? That's similar to what is shown on MD's website.

Definitely let us know how the project works out!

We've waited for motodynamic integrated taillight for almost 6 months now :( can't wait to buy them for our bikes.

Did anyone catch the updated note on Motodynamic? Or are we all to anxious for Geckos version:D

PRODUCTION DELAYED...AGAIN... ETA: TBA

Bahahahah.... Give it up Moto....
