Still will be interesting to see if he can master the Honda machine, many seem to struggle.

Why the hate on the best Ducati rider since stoner. Safe to say dovi was a fluke last year. They let the wrong guy go in iaonne and again with lorenzo. They didn't give stoner what he asked for and he won them a damn championship. Instead of doing what he asked they tried to sign Jorge. Now they got Jorge and they did t want him and he has back to back wins

Ducati does in fact do some very idiotic things... They should have learned from Stoner, and i am sure there is things from Rossi as well they are regretting or at least saying yeah we should have done what he was asking for.

Dovi was a fluke? What a joke. If Lorenzo wins as much as he did like last year, then we can talk. Oh by the way, Lorenzo still has same points as Dovi 66 points now with Dovi’s 3 DNFs. Thank about that for a second. Greatest Ducati rider....hahahaha.

It took dovi 4 years to win a race. Lorenzo did it in a hear and a half. There was no comp from anyone else but Ducati. By default he took second. He has 7 total wins since 13 Jorge has 2 in 1.5 years. Think about it

I did. Lorenzo got it easy since Dovi developed the bike to a winning bike and still took him 1.5 years.

Now that Ducati has rearranged the GP18 so whoregay can ride and win on it, it's unridable for Dovi. I do believe Ducati and whoregay will be sorry for this decision to part company, maybe not now, but by race 5 next season it will be crying time.

The blame really is on ducati, as they made it obvious early on that they were planning to boot him, JL was even willing to take a pay cut (obviously as Honda are going to be paying him less). But ironically could you blame them? They paid JL $20+ mill and he showed absolutely nothing til the last 2 rounds. Ducati just have bad luck.
As for Dovi being a fluke, I wouldn't say so, he was just lucky with the DNFs MM had last year. If JL can keep the momentum and master the Duc in the coming rounds that aren't suited for it and himself, he might be a podium contender. Championship wise I think MM has it in the bag.

Dovi developed lol he's been on every bike and never won. How many titles? How many victories in his career? How many podiums? He is cal crutchlow same rider everyone. Ducati keeps him cause he says 0 against them. Honda nothing Yamaha nothing and Ducati nothing gigi came there and some changes. Dovi was a flash in the sky one opportunity because marquez had 3 DNF and the title wasn't close. Dovi won't finish better than lorenzo this year book it.

i will say again looking at the history of both riders. you cant tell me that last year wasnt a fluke. call it a break out season but if it were a breakout season it would continue.
as stated before JLO will out point dovi this year it will be honda till at least 2021
