everyone said that Jlo's riding style and lack of adaptability made it impossible to be successful on the ducati.
He proved them all wrong

I really really like that

even though I thought his riding style didn't fit the ducati. :D he proved me wrong too

It's what makes Motogp awesome.

12 races left

although it still looks like marquez is the man to beat its too early to call the championship now

the clairvoyant on this forum is now saying Jlo is great :roll eyes:

of course he is Him and everyone else on the grid are deserving of respect

it aint over til its over .

Not too shabby on George's part... not a huge fan of him, but I do respect his determination.

On the the other note... Rossi's consistency is slowly getting him up there... another mistake from Marquez and he can be in contention for winning the championship... yet it is way too early to call...

thats what rossi does. cant fault him for that. he knows he cant compete so i wouldnt call it consistant because in reality he should always be top 4 just being on a factory ride. so he just stays steady rides around in the top 5 where the factory yamaha should be. a crash or 2 and hes at the podium. happened 2 times already this race and the danny jorge dove crash. man gets points just out of being there. smart move on his part if marc did that he would be up by at least another 25.

Dovi was a fluke? What a joke. If Lorenzo wins as much as he did like last year, then we can talk. Oh by the way, Lorenzo still has same points as Dovi 66 points now with Dovi's 3 DNFs. Thank about that for a second. Greatest Ducati rider....hahahaha.

almost forgot young R dovi was at ducati so long and nothing happened now you are crediting him for lorenzo's wins because he developed the bike.

hows this dovi didnt start winning to lorenzo got there. just so happens the yamaha started losing when lorenzo left. kind of shows who developed what.

dovi will never be a contender again he will be on vh1 where are they now or one hit wonders.

If anyone is to be credited, i'd say it be Gigi. Yes it took them a while to finesse 'his' bike but they got there, and eventually took just under 2 years for Dovi to come first (Iannone beat him to it). So saying it took Dovi 4 years to win is rubbish when the bike was the obvious reason, no one else won on it.
As for Dovi being a fluke, when I hear that and the context it's thrown in it kind of implies he cant fight for the championship. I think he can with the current bike and CONTEXT, and he's duelled MM multiple times and came out all times. He and Ducati have been lucky past couple years that Honda and (especially) Yamaha have struggled to make a competent bike that works. Once they iron our their issues, who knows how long that'll take, then I'd agree that Dovi probably won't ever finish as high as he did last year.
