Ya unfortunate for Bastianini, but that was a plain junior move. I'm mean, you're in MotoGP approaching the grid and you're lined up exactly on someone's ... going that fast? No better move than lock the front? He was texting prolly. ;P
I think something like that happened to Stoner. There were a couple of warm up lap crashes hahaa. Sounds so absurd. After that he always left for the warm up lap last and parked last.

Yep. Notice he was going fast enough that after the endo, he slid for 4 rows on the grid?

It was the chief mechanics fault…

If he only had one front rotor that would not have happened : )

Hello all , new here 56 years old have superbike collection 2019 V4s stock... 2010 Aprilia RSV4 Fully worked... 2012 MV F4RC worked ..., 2019 Kawasaki H2 exhaust ..., 2020 BMW S1000RR exhaust .. AND a 2006 Triumph sprint worked / turned to its original superbike intended(60lbs lighter after sport tourer bags, center stand ect removed) form before Triumph decided to go sport tourer with it . Easiest bike ever owned to go fast on . Your grandma could do hot lap on it lol.

ANYHOW LOVE MotoGP/WSBK racing done track days but now due to numb feet and right hand my skills are crap.

Ducati is and has had the best MotoGP bike for years just needed rider . Marquez is now regretting he didnt sign with ducati in 2019 . Hope to see ducati win this year IMO bagnia best chance .
Catalunya brutal on tires so not looking good for this weekend but its predicted to be rain race so could be a good weekend for ducati

PS Roehr 1250 sc is USA ONLY world class Superbike . Supercharged Harley liquid cooled V twin engine Twin spar forged chome moly chassis with aluminum base. Google it . Phenominal bike sold to Motorcycle museum 180hp 115lbs torque at only 8500 rpm= ducati 1198 handling and ducati 1299 acceleration

Excellent! IMHO Rossi will make a great team manager. Without bias Ducati has the best package in MotoGP and Rossi has proven himself as a good judge on up and coming talent .
Can see the VR46 team a genuine title contender in the very near future.

The Aramco sponsorship is garbage. Can’t support a team that’s funded by a bunch of human rights violators and murderers

I don’t disagree with you BUT you are walking a very slippery slope. I’m sure we can find all sorts of skeletons in other teams, race circuits, sponsors, host countries, etc. if we bother to look. I agree that the sponsor is horrendous. Full stop. I just think that we need to apply our ethical judgments equally and to everyone.

whataboutisms don't really work except to distract from the reality.

Henceforth VR46 is known as team bonesaw

Let's bring these skeletons to light. I started. Who's next?

It’s like every city that thinks it needs the Olympics, a new BS soccer team, race track, et al to bring masses of tourists while taking a dump on their citizens. They tend to only count the dollars those things bring in as a gross instead of net profit.

Ya well, pretty much every team is represented by some sort of oil company - so there's that.
I don't want to throw up my arms and say, "they all suck so I guess we won't think about it." Would be great to endlessly ping Dorna with these comments.

I don't think Mav has the right mindset to be the #2 rider in Aprilia. He hasn't proven he is good enough to usurp AE's place as #1 seeing AE has been the driving force behind the team for years. Aprilia doesn't need that contention or bike development confusion. It could set Aprilia back.

Mav should be hitting up Herve @ Tech 3 or Rossi/Uccio for the 2nd Aramco/VR46 Ducati seat. If he wants to muscle a bike around, at least choose one that is already a proven race winner.

Interesting idea. Only thing is, Vale has said that VR46 is all about bring up young Italian racers. Albeit they are taking in lads loosely identified 'italian' such as Morbidelli.
Though the Mav is not even one of those. I was about to complain about the first-world lack of contenders. I guess Joe Roberts came from American Racing. It's a start I guess. Just not as flashy as VR46.

Well, he could serve the VR46 tribe by getting Bez on Petronas. They are most likely going to have two seats open... assuming Morbi goes to factory. For that second seat, MotoGP needs a US/UK rider... could be Roberts/Gerloff/Lowes... I think Lowes had his shot though and probably won't get another
