the R1M (not R1) is comparable to Ducati. It's no slouch on the road but the hair trigger throttle takes some getting used to. It's not a bad bike at all, and I actually like the styling. If I had to choose between the Big Four Japanese makes, that's the one I'd take home.
But mostly, I'm just thankful I don't have to hear about how it's "better" than the 1299 anymore
