actually, you have a valid point. Squids running on bikes with loud straight pipe exhausts, broken fairings, etc...those bikes do vary in displacement. I concede that point.
But invariably, such bikes are of Japanese manufacture, and are invariably inline-4s.
And I will go and enjoy my 1299S (don't forget the S, that's a rather important letter), immediately following my tea and crumpets.
Aussies don't read too well, and write even worse. I've dealt with many on various forums and they all think they know everything - it's pathetic.

He might have been a .... to you but generalizing is never a good thing man.

If I was a loser Hispanic, I'd bet I have no brain, really poor taste, and ride a hideous white bike
Edited for accuracy...
I'd have to argue that. I did an entire track season last year on an 1199R and found the bike felt 20 pounds heavier in the turns, while I just tracked my HP4 for the first time ever a few days back and it feels 20 pounds lighter in the turns. Again, it all comes down to personal preference. None of the magazines should mean anything to us. All of these bikes have pros and cons. (okay, the honda just cons- outdated by 10 years much)...
