Thanks!

The worst part of the crash was I couldn't see what happened to the bike for 2 hours. It's not too bad. Definitely repairable.

I was looking at the pictures and thinking it doesn't look bad at all considering how fast it was. Very lucky :)

Tadashi -- not sure if this is inappropriate, so feel free to not answer -- but did you have any physical injuries at all? I hope obviously you are entirely well, but I am just curious bc I find this crash footage incredible. Thanks man.

Not inappropriate at all.

Two sprained wrists
left knee is tweaked
Bruised, possibly cracked rib
Collarbone was mildly dislocated at the sternum

I feel I got away with murder

Ok I have MAC parts, DP rearsets, Brembo parts (levers, MCs etc) DP throttles, race switches, a lot of motor parts, swingarms etc. Let me know what you need. If I have it, its yours No charge man.

Wow Ed, what an offer. Such an amazing guy.

I'd love to grab some parts just so I can test if the engine is still good. Harness, dash, imu, lower mac line etc.. If the engine is toast I might have to scrap my whole project and part it out. [emoji17]

Good luck healing, just take your time but keep moving.

Glad to hear you survived and are in relatively good shape considering the speed !! Good luck with your recovery and rebuild ... all the best

BST wheel got rashed :(... it's going to make some really nice wall art at the office..

I'm so happy not a drop of oil got on my rotors [emoji106]

in the future, after this experience, would you go back to BSTs again or pick some other aluminum or mag wheel?

BST used to offer a service where they would inspect crash damaged wheels and see if they were repairable.

Yep, the rotors are the hardest thing to replace on the bike. I have a spare in the garage that has a nice chunk taken out of it. Still pisses me off every time I see it. Bummer on the wheel. With CF, you just don't know so you don't chance it. Make a nice frame for it.

This kind of accident is what I fear most. I keep reassuring myself that I am matured and trained sufficiently not to push limits too far and not to let passion (or adrenaline) take control over sense so I am safe from rider error or over commitment type of crashes. I also like to think I have the experience to more or less realize when others on the track are too much of a risk for me. But for this kind of failures I don't think there is anything to do to completely rule out. Of course: proper maintenance, right quality parts, regular checks, etc. will reveal obvious weak points. Still, joints, lines, bolts can fail without any forewarning.

Glad you are okay and have the attitude to stand up and consider how to move forward!

Good luck with rebuild and with future rides!
