Just got my bike back from the shop because dash was flashing like crazy with can line and bbs and wouldn't start back up. Good thing is that I made it home, this is the second time this happen so now back to the shop to try to get it right this time. I am loosing faith in Ducati so PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE.

Mine blew the Canbus fuse which is in the first housing 2nd or 3rd fuse back.

I am gonna carry a pair of forceps and spare 10 and 15 amp fuses. But hopefully this won't ever happen again.

Actually since this happened in a moment of throttle requirement I will file a complaint today. I just realized this could have happened in traffic with serious consequences.

Here is the first one I am doing:

Here is one for DNA:

Just as I thought gents after reading the past stories on this issue it came out to be a bad BBS box. My bike only has 3000 miles on it so this sucks but hey it's under warranty. Maybe it was just a bad place to put it considering all the heat and water that may get in there. Design flaw if you ask me.

Same happened to me when I had the bike. Yes water gets in! Replaced and my tech wrapped in waterproofing all then ok

I know about the water issue with these bikes but it was a very hot day when it happen.

Could still be moisture from another day/washing bike, can take a bit to get in and upset it....heat is a factor for the BBS also!!

Mine is in for the same symptoms, albeit mine happened on the back straight at VIR's full course.

Well, I got a call from Ducati S.P.A yesterday and reiterated the complaint I have regarding a blown CAN Bus fuse, but no causation identified.

The lovely sounding lady said she would speak to the two techs from DNA that looked over the bike and report back to me.

This seems to be a fairly common problem with some sort of voltage spike triggering a fuse to blow. I wonder if it is heat related to the Black Box Sensor under the seat?

Too early to tell I guess.

I know I'm late but my wife talked to Ducati and told them what happen and they said they knew nothing about this problem with the bike. I think the people that are having this problem is just not reporting it to them or Ducati is lying about knowing. Sad to say as much as I love ducati's this blows me. Funny thing is my wife seen the MV Agusta F4 RC and said if that Tricolore gives you another problem when it gets back....SELL IT! and think about getting that MV. Elvis has left the building:D and drops mic

No word from dealer or Ducati as of today.

They will probably drag their feet. However, after reporting it through the Feds there at least is a placeholder for this event.

3 times and she gets lemon law action.
