My ex-gf and this bike are both Italian and both crazy.

Purchased my 1299S on 01 April, had her delivered and took my first ride yesterday, 04 April. Not at all what I expected. Little effort will drop her into a curve and pull her out. She's both comfortable and capable in her abilities to offer a joyful riding experience and was probably bored with me. After a quick snack we played in the twisties which is followed up by a smooth 3 mile straight. I was cruising at 70mph in 3rd gear, I tucked in, and opened her up. It was as if I whispered, "Honda is better." OMGoodness!! She went into a rage and I was not ready for that at all! I was pushed back in the seat, my head went back and began to bobble side to side and my mind lagged as to what was happening. I'm fighting to keep her steady, shift lights illuminate the dash and my left foot instinctively shifts into 4th gear as she continues her rage. My mind trying to catch up, vision tunneled and she's pulling hard. Fifth gear, sixth gear, and she's not stopping. I swear I heard her say, "You wanted it, now you got it." in a psychotic tone. I held for a bit then I'm off the throttle. I was in awe as I slowed to my cruising speed and probably in a daze. I don't smoke but, a cigarette, a shot of whiskey, and a nap seemed fitting for what I just experienced.
