Hey all,
Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm from Houston Texas and this is my first Ducati. Picked up a demo 2019 V4 from Fort Worth on black Friday.
Love the bike so far. Not as hot as I thought it would be from all the posts. Maybe I got lucky? I ride in full leathers so maybe that helped with the heat.
I do not plan on modding it too much. Love the stock look, however I had to take care of the ugly taillights. Picked up and installed NRC fender eliminator. Much cleaner. After that I am going to do an exterior full detail, paint correction, seal, etc and post the process on here later.
This is my first Ducati, but second bike ever. I rode a 2003 Honda 600RR back in college. I plan on attending track days to learn more about the bike next year.
I purchased all my gear slowly prior to finding this lovely deal. Unfortunately I purchased gloves a size too large (which are on sale in the classifieds) Dainese Full Metal 6 if anyone is interested in a new pair!
Anyways, thanks for having me. A lot of great info on here. Cheers!
