I have to be honest. I dont feel a DRASTIC change in handling and or performance. Have not ridden it hard yet or on anything that would require quick throws from side to side, but it does feel a bit lighter and more "flickable" if that is a word? Like I posted, the change does not drop a .... ton of weight off the bike- but it does change the centralized inertia more.
I dont know when I should feel the biggest difference though.

I kept my stock wheels to either put back on bike when the times comes I get too old to play with rockets, or for track wheels and tires. For anyone who has felt stock wheels off the bike (without tires) you know what I mean- they are VERY VERY light now which is awesome! I am cautious about getting these things dicked up. Everyone loves the look of carbon wheels and I must say I love the glossy (wet) look of carbon MUCH more. hence the reason I just ordered every other piece of carbon for this bike in glossy version, and having a great bike painter clear all the matte stuff for me with some special inclusions in it. Will show this and all the rest when its mounted.

Thanks all for compliments and questions. To me, it was a much better purchase than a full system on the Tri Colore!

Haha...Thats the way Gunny, take a awesome bike and make it better.

Cant wait to see what you end up with.....looks like we are both on the same path to the poor house, see you there for a beer:D

Thanks man, I appreciate the feedback. I suppose more of a difference would be felt if put on a base bike with its heavier wheels. I have yet to see a set of these on a bike in person! I can see why your being cautious about messing those hoops up.

Mods

I caught myself drooling while looking at this bike. Great job!

Thanks again everyone. I am anxiously awaiting all the glossy Carnonvani carbon fiber components now to complete the rest of the bike. Other mods such as front axle sliders, rear slider (although love my Pit Bull reverse stand) Titanium frame plugs and bolts, new grips and bar ends, perhaps some hot reservoir caps, and much more bling are enroute!

Special thanks to the great guys at MotoWheels, Sport Bike Track Gear, Bellissimoto and of course my fantastic and well stocked dealership Redline Performance Motorsports! I could not make this expensive dream come true without all your help gents! And of course YOU, my fellow members for coming up with all your great ideas and advice!

My closests friend of 25+ years is one of the finest motorcycle painters in the country who has won numerous awards, been in every magazine, and has more attention to detail than a career Marine like me, will most likely be doing a totally customized and entirely unique paintjob like no other when I obtain a set of aftermarket bodywork. Presently he is doing some custom graphics and professional clear coat job to all my horrible DP matte finish carbon fiber. (sorry matte / satin finish lovers- to me carbon should blind you with a fine shine and draw out the true weave of the carbon fiber itself!) I shall of course post this work once completed. This guy can fix anything bodywork related, create one of kind paintwork, and NOT rape you for the work either!
He will soon have advertisement banners on all Ducati websites since he truly eats, sleeps, and breathes in Ducati 24/7 for a living! For something big or small give him a call and tell him Gunny sent you! Yes, that was a triple bump for him! :D:D

Why can't I see the pics? I'm logged on and everything. Did you delete them?

I'm trying to find pics of the DP fender eliminator installed but cant seem to find any while doing a search. Can anyone help a brother out?

Thanks

After some douche started
poking around into my personal data I went into my user acct and made some edits to it. In the process I must've deleted the pics and will try to get them back into the thread. Sorry
man.
I went back and deleted a number of threads and posts I made due to some adversarial comments and accusations made by a member and dealership. Additionally there was personal data released off another website to one of the members which clearly indicated potential privacy violations and perhaps criminal act too. If I wished to pursue the issue I'm sure it would be found someone associated with the site (owner, moderator, etc) was perhaps guilty of this violation. I'm not pointing fingers or anything at this time and honestly wish to forget about it. This site is the most honest and secure that I have found and wish to congratulate the staff on such a wonderful experience here!

I actually did find a pic of the DP fender eliminator finally. Looks nice just wish it was tucked up a little more. Would still love to see pics of your bike though.

I agree with what you said about this place too. I belong to a few different forums for various toys/trucks/guns etc. There is alot more people here willing to repeat info, help others with part #'s etc. There seems to be alot less flaming around here too.
