I have to be honest. I dont feel a DRASTIC change in handling and or performance. Have not ridden it hard yet or on anything that would require quick throws from side to side, but it does feel a bit lighter and more "flickable" if that is a word? Like I posted, the change does not drop a .... ton of weight off the bike- but it does change the centralized inertia more.
I dont know when I should feel the biggest difference though.
I kept my stock wheels to either put back on bike when the times comes I get too old to play with rockets, or for track wheels and tires. For anyone who has felt stock wheels off the bike (without tires) you know what I mean- they are VERY VERY light now which is awesome! I am cautious about getting these things dicked up. Everyone loves the look of carbon wheels and I must say I love the glossy (wet) look of carbon MUCH more. hence the reason I just ordered every other piece of carbon for this bike in glossy version, and having a great bike painter clear all the matte stuff for me with some special inclusions in it. Will show this and all the rest when its mounted.
Thanks all for compliments and questions. To me, it was a much better purchase than a full system on the Tri Colore!
Haha...Thats the way Gunny, take a awesome bike and make it better.
Cant wait to see what you end up with.....looks like we are both on the same path to the poor house, see you there for a beer
