My Full Termi Dyno result with new up map

When you dynoed yours was the 196 an all gear test up to the rev limiter in 6th. The reason I ask is cause I am trying to figure out what the bike is geared for in sixth. Also about the algorithms, that is exactly what I was getting at. People start messing with things they know nothing about and dyno's start getting a bad reputation from it. I have a dynojet model 250 but don't have access to it cause we are waiting for our sound proof dyno room so it has been disabled for a while now.

Yes it was an all gear test all the way to the rev limiter in 6th. My buddy had to install the expensive exhaust system in the Dyno room he got fined last year by the state of good ol California. The expensive system he had originally installed wasn't good enough.

I understand that a bike with 195 hp at the crank according to the manufacturer, cannot make nearly that much at the wheel. Somehow, you've eliminated drive train loss. Congrats! I realize it has the full exhaust but still doesn't make up for it. Not criticizing, just saying that dynos can be misleading.

195(Base at the Crank) + 5% (Termi Full System 9.75hp)= 205.75 HP - 10%(20.47 HP) Loss Drive Train = 185.28 HP at the wheel.

I think this is in the Ball Park very close to to my 185.90.

I did see approx 5% increase from Stock to Full Termi. When I first Broke in the engine just before I headed to Ducati for the first service I had it Dynoed and was 173 at the rear (stock exhaust). I had the Full Termi exhaust installed during the first service and immediately went to the same shop to do another run and it was 182 same shop and Dyno. After all Dyno machines was developed to prove aftermarket upgrades do what they say they will do and I wanted to make sure the $3K Termi was worth it. Now with the new up map I see 185. Although the first two times was at a different shop (Buddy was out of town that day) than the third but same model dyno. The first shop I wont mention names are complete ass holes they wouldn't let me get near the Bike while they performed the test due to the Liability or even suggest how to improve. They just ran it handed me the results but they did give me half off the second Dyno since it was done in the same day.

Ducati is known to put out correct HP when they advertise or at least everything I read or heard about them said so. This is my First Duc and I have no complaints so far except they keep really quite about things and only let you know what they want you to know.

My friend just texted me "going back to the new Ducati upmap" the extra 9 hp is not worth the poor gas mileage you were getting today" the modifed PC-V doesnt allow access to the close loop area. Although it ran really smooth and powerful and would work on the tracks but it made this beast gas hungry i would need a 5.5 gal tank like the WSBK and this gas mileage wouldn't be acceptable for me on the streets. Maybe we found the answer on why Ducati did what they did to the up map. He wants to try another auto tuner to access the closed loop area but I think I'm done, I'm happy with the new upmap from Ducati for now and archive this map for track days and im calling it quits before we fry something. Going to pick up my bike now from the shop.
