Need help identifying a sensor

Guys attaching a picture of a sensor on the front left. Please advise if anyone knows what it is and if there are any special mounting required. Bike is 1199 base.

That is one relay that ducati put on via a recall due to the left hand control can fail to supply correct power to the turn signals, resulting in failed turn signals.
It is not a sensor.

So this is why my left hand control won't work?
 
Got it thanks. I was worried this could be part of some inertial tracking unit or whatever. In the oem faring it was glued with double sided tape. Once I put race farings in the thing was kind dangling around.
 
Thanks. I've been having trouble accessing my traction control and lap timer.

Can you please post a better pic of where the wire goes to?
