No, I got my 1299 for 15k with Akra installed get it down below 10k or go for the new bike with a warranty. 4K extra for a bike under warranty with advanced electronics is worth it

2.5 year old bike vs new, styling in real life is better on the V2, electronics on the V2 are better, single sided swing arm is a better choice on the V2, ride comfort is better on the V2.

V2 , you'll get over the 2018 real quick, with the v2 you'll keep it longer..

Get a discount! Make them Throw in a service and a helmet or something to make it worth your while buying a brand new bike.
Check on insurance first. I’ve got Dairyland and they seem to be the best price for insurance for me.

I bought a new off the showroom bike (other make), it was 2 years sitting in the dealer. Well i found out fast the tires were out of round, but warranty fixed that, just keep that in mind
