Sorry but the op sound like this is going to be his first bike, any body that ride knows if they are ready for a big bike, you don't need nobody to tell you which bike is easy to ride they both suck ... in the street, don't listen to people telling you that the big bike it hard to ride because that is not true, a small bike will get you in the same trouble as the liter bike specially with today bikes and to tell you the true I feel more safe on a 1199 or my f4 with 173 hp at the wheel than my old 848 ( I have the power to take off and i don't need to be pushing the bike to the limit) get your self a up ride position bike, sport bike on the street is not cool to commute, the 1199 need a full system otherwise IS TOO ....... HOT !!!!!
