This is really exciting!
Light weight wheels ,Ohlins suspension or and a S and R model would be very exciting!

I owned and am a very big fan of the 959. A fantastic machine and an amazing track weapon. A little more power would not hurt the bike.

My concern is in 5 years this will be the 1299 again, but more suffocating exhaust.
165 HP wouldnt hurt. IMU wouldnt hurt.

real question is, when the first 1299 retrofitted to V4 look will pop up?

Inferior calipers
220mm rotors
And no way will they come with lightweight wheels
And that cat underneath is hideous!

Can all be changed out but throwing more money at a premium priced bike.

I have been waiting for this also, its very curious time for the mid range Ducati super bike. Kinda happy it is still la twin

more of a face lift to new v4 than a "new" bike. Thou if it came with a SSSA and TFN dash then maybe it would be a interesting package.

..but then again a 999cc v4 base model with detune would work ok as well.

I did the same with my 899... I grin while passing 1199/1299/SLs at the track alllllll the time!

The 959 guys are usually pretty fast as well.
