this weekend i finally had the chance to go down to Los Angeles to pick up my 2012 Ducati 1199S Tricolore with only 700 miles on it. bought it from westlake diucati in thousand oaks and gotta say i was impressed with the dealership.

to my surprise which the seller i was working with never told me was that this bike had a full termi exhaust system instead of just a slip on. all tricolore when purchase new came with just the termi slip on but i guess this previous owner paid a little more for the full system. also have a lot of upgraded carbon fiber parts as well.

after picking up the bike on friday, i stayed down in LA to ride some of their mountain roads and i gotta say there were some really nice roads to ride on. i end up putting on 250 miles for the day.

Gorgeous views! That must have been a good first date!
180 degrees from the topic; how does that Roadcrafter treat you for sport riding? It's been on my wish list for the last year; I'm a strange size tho at 5'9 180 30" inseam to find a used one...

That is just a stunning bike... There's something about that color scheme with the Termignonis that looks 100% perfect... Italian, through and through..

Cheers.

the Aerostich works really well for cold weather riding for any types of bike. you can still move around freely that if you want to hit the turns hard it would allow you enough movements to do so. lucky for me i did wear it because it got really cold up in the mountains as you can see in the pictures.

i would totally suggest the Aerostich to anyone that is thinking about it. it's a great investment that you won't regret.
