Bang for the buck money wise is the Bmw… Riding comfort Bmw… Speed, electronics... 50/50

looks V4

Maintenance No clue on Bmw…

Thoughts I don't know what to do...

I would only consider one of those new works of art if you’re keeping your 1299

Dude. Do it, s1000RR is my favorite sounding bike, it’s a hella value for the $$$

not to mention $2,000 Akra exhaust vs $7k

I got to be part of 650iB giving it away in Mimi. I’m in his vid below

That Bimmer might get me back to the motherland.

I mean, I love my pasta party but that 2020 s1krr is a hot ... bike

Gonna have to vote for the BMW. The V4 just doesn't do much for me I am not a fan of the styling at all. Though I would rather have a V4 over an I4 any day so Aprilia it is. ;)

I also asked this question. It seems to me that this BMW engine is very strong. Will give more rwhp than v4 1100cc engine. Especially after ECU flash and full Akra.
But when I first saw Gen4, the low quality of black unpainted plastic was a little embarrassing. It can be seen that they saved on it to please us at the price of a beamer. In part, this also applies to other elements of the bike.

Parts*

I love the 2020 V4S, my quote was $39,300 out the door with Akra installed

I’m pretty sure BMW will be well under 30K OTD with Ti Akra installed

both bikes are stunning, I like that the Ducati has full fairings vs the bmw is a bit more naked.
BMW paint looks like cheap “contractor pickup up truck white” and the red and blue is just decals

My Daytona 675 has beautiful Crystal White paint, polished and ceramic coated. It’s amazing, the metal flake is very premium looking

I’ll be waiting to buy second hand in a few years after the rich ppl (on here) are ready to upgrade

Totally German, if you know what I mean, i.e here is a German Joke

Knock Knock
Whos there?
The police
The police who?
The police who are here to inform you your family has died in a car accident

Now here's the Italian version

Ill go with the red passion

I've done 3 generation of S1000RR, I need something else to fill the void that S1000RR couldn't give me.

the experience I had with s1000rr is very good, crash worthiness, simple maintenance, lots of potentials.

the experience so good, I even worked in a bmw moto dealership for 4 years!!

however, I couldn't stomach the wait for the new S1000RR and V4s was gawking at me with passion, I couldn't resist to goto Ducati.

at the end, its all about experience in life. I said do both if you can, if only one, then one at a time....

All i can say, i rode a 2010 S1k rr at Barber 2 years ago and was immediately faster than on my (previously raced there) 1199...

haven't ridden a V4 yet, but damn was the BMW easy to ride fast.

Do yourself a favour and ride a v4, I had another ride yesterday swapping my bike with a friend out for a demo on one up a favourite road. No comparison, so much easier to ride fast whereas the 1299 you have to wrestle a gorilla in comparison. Plus it’s has heaps of controllable linear power, but the 1299 has a raw brutishness that appeals to me. I’m still getting one in a month or so though :)

The bmw.... Clinical, perfunctory, efficient but soul? Not enough of it for me to get excited about

Gave those a watch yesterday, I would love to see how the Ducati production line operates - somewhere in between both since Audi acquired it?

Haha I can’t even handle a phone call while driving a car!

but he does make some good points, BMW Miami said S1000RR won’t be available for a while
