Hey everyone. Finally took the plunge and bought a 2013 Diavel Red Carbon - after test riding one 6 years ago:) (have a 2001 FZ1 and 2013 Aprilia RSV4 ). OMG - Diavel is the PERFECT bike:) Only regret is not buying it sooner:). ABSOLUTELY in love with this thing. Now just picking the upgrade projects. Bent the shift lever to hell earlier today on a turn (barely any lean angle on this bike with stock rearsets lol) - woodcraft rearsets on order. Fixed the annoying on/off button by slapping a glue felt pad on the switch:)

Fun side story - riding it home in the rain (2hr trip) - accelerate hard let off gas fast - gasoline spraying like CRAZY from under after market gas cap. Holy .... scared me the first time. Backed off rode it home - seller texts me receipt boston riverside ducati replaced and "tested" (mind you for 400+ $$ not including part) - WTF LOL. i take it apart - they took the gasket and put it into totally wrong spot!!! Haha. Gasket by now over stretched and ripped apart partially by bolts - shorten it - put it in right spot - no more gas spray. Takeaway? 1) Guy owned a diavel and never had this issue he said - how was he riding it?? Never got on the gas???:) and 2) 125/hour "testing" by certified tech???? ROFL:)

Any other western Mass riders here??

Nice bike. Good luck with it. At least you don't have the ...... Fuel Sensor problems of the Gen II.
