Just stopping through to say Hi and I can't wait to get this beautiful bike. Just put a deposit down for the S ABS model. I was set on getting the BMW s1000RR but after the 1199 was unveiled I quickly changed my mind. Anyway glad to be here.

Thx. Yes this will be my 1st Ducati, I currently own a 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa and a GSXR1000 before that. Still putting together my list. Gonna through some Carbon fiber pieces on there from the DS
 
Welcome. I think you make the right choice between the S1000RR and the 1199. Don't get me wrong the BMW is a great bike, but just doesn't stir the soul.
