Hello Everyone!

I'm new here to the forum and have been looking here for information for a little while now and finally decided that I should just go ahead and join as it can only be beneficial in the long run. I have owned only one ducati till now and that was an early 16' 959 and unfortunately lost her to an accident of which i was not at fault but have put together plans to maybe move up to a 1299(S). Still considering it but for now i have my trusty ole Suzuki to keep me occupied till the 1299 comes. At least the Suzuki is a twin ;) Anyways Im not too sure what all to say except that I really look forward to learning from you all and hopefully I can find a way to meet up with some of you for rides in the future. I'm currently in San Francisco but will be moving back to Arkansas end of May. Anyone in the Ark-La-Tex area?? Thanks guys/gals and look forward to bugging the crap outta ya!

Welcome, Jonny. There are a handful of us in the north Texas area.

Thanks for the welcome guys and I suspected there were a few of you guys in the north Texas area lol. I will probably buy my bike from AMS in Dallas as they are the closest to me (250miles). And yes I hope my luck is better with the 1299 as I would just give up on life if something happened to this one. Any opinions on AMS? I'll reasearch them more later when I'm home, just thought I'd ask while I'm here. Lol.

AMS is a solid dealership and good people. They were the second cheapest in the state when I was pricing my bike. I'm stuck with Austin and they leave a lot to be desired.

+1 on AMS. You'll be hard pressed to find a better dealership.
