Just wanted to say what's up to the forums. My name is Onder. I just purchased my white 2013 Panigale base model this last Saturday and it was delivered to me on Wednesday after the dealer prepped it and it was ready to go. I must say I've never had this type of anxiousness for any bike I've purchased before, not even the very first motorcycle I bought 10 years ago. I've owned a 2004 Kawasaki ZX6R, a 2006 ZX6R and most recently a 2010 Daytona 675SE which I sold about 6 months ago. Now that riding season is here, I had the itch to go buy another bike and what better way to do that than to get the sexiest thing on 2 wheels like the Panigale, right?

Obviously this is my very first liter bike so I don't intend on abusing it at all, not necessarily due to my lack of experience but because....well....she's a work of art!!! If I had the means, I would have purchased 2 and made 1 of them a livingroom showpiece. I'm in LOVE with this bike. Anyway, long story but I am eager to learn more about this platform and soak up some much needed knowledge. Can't wait!

Red is nice, just not my taste. I'm a fan of blue or white but obviously there's no blue Duc's. I drive a white Evo and now a white 1199 to go with it. It's the only reason I pulled the trigger now instead of gettin it last year.

Congrats!!!!! I too own a White Base with ABS and have had only great comments on the colour, don't listen to the sheep who follow the leader of red, yes it's traditional blah blah blah, but it's great to be an individual, stand tall and proud to own white!!!!!!!

I love these debates that get started and the comments from all involved, brings a smile reading hem when not riding such a beautiful piece of artwork, in white!!!!!!

LOL I'm not takin any of that red/white crap personal. It is a personal taste. I don't knock people and their decisions on color. Red isn't ugly to begin with.

Far as riding goes, I don't even have any gear besides a jacket lol. Still waiting til probably Wednesday or Thursday before my helmet and gloves arrive. I'm typically on the westside of L.A. (Santa Monica, Culver City etc.) If I'm ever out this area, it's usually out to the valley to visit a couple of lady friends but that's nothing more than commuting. Couple of my buddies and I used to ride the canyons Sunday mornings and still intend on doing so soon as I get my gear. I may run into a couple of you guys. ...., bad choice of words....See a couple of you guys out there.

Can't wait and thanks again for the warm welcome!

Welcome Onder! You are going to love the bike and I agree w/JimmyM......it's always great riding in LA. I live in West LA too along with a few other guys and ride weekend AM, so we should connect up with JC and some of the other guys for a group Crest ride one of these weekends. Cheers!
