Hi been a Panigale owner since 20th December. Dealers delivered it so have not ridden it yet. Roll on spring as the weather is awful here in UK. Look forward to swapping info. Cheers

Welcome Rockape. My S is also chomping at the bit to get out. Roll on Spring or at least a dry and sunny Winter's day!

Thanks for the replies!

Wish I could Panigale Man. Love the site, think it is great that we have guys from all over the world giving their input on such a beautiful machine. Any doubts I may have had in terms of issues with my bike are soon dispelled when I go out to the garage (i pop in all the time just to look at it! Which the wife hates). Must admit was not overly impressed when after I signed the deal then I asked the dealer to talk me through the dash (I am a bit old school a rev counter and speedo would have done! But it is awesome) then he started it up and exhaust smoke just bellowed out! At that point I thought sod this just give me my Repsol CBR 1000 RR back. But he did explain that it is normal and it will go. On a more positive note I have a stunning motorcycle in my garage. I have got just one question- I read a post on here from an 18 year old Panigale s owner, how the hell did he get insurance? I am 41, been riding sports bikes 18 years with full no claims, and this is my most expensive bike I have had to pay insurance premiums for. UK insurers would laugh at him. But good luck to you mate. Ride safe.

I'm 33, got full no claims and been riding bikes on the road since 16 (illegally before 16), MCE were the best quote. Yeah I can't believe an 18yr old would get insured unless money was no object.
