Hey hey everybody. Bought my very 1st Ducati yesterday. V4s Corse, 1st new anything I've ever owned. 1mile, I'm excited. Cant wait to put little trinkets on it make it my own and little accessories. Saw a post the other day about someone having blemishes on tank from wear with the flat paint, was thinking about doing a 3m clear coat on it. Any corse owners have suggestions on how to wash this thing without messing up the paint? Want some Ducabike accessories racing hub and flange, carrier and sprocket. Dont want to but maybe add some tank padsdont want to hide the paint job. Want to put Akra or Arrow slip ons. Full out of my budget for the next year. This 7k rev limiter and 700miles is gona blow, but so far I like it. Got to get use to riding positioning. Shes gorgeous though. Sounds like a T-rex. Trying to figure out how to add pictures to this post

That's why I'm not a fan of the flat painted vehicles. They seem to be a pain to take care of.

The first thing I did to my V4S was get clear bra applied. When I bought mine there wasn't a pattern/template (too new), so my friend did mine for free so he could scan in the panels and sell it to other clear bra installers. He did almost the entire bike. He would only accept a tip. I'd do the clear bra before you get a nick in the paint. I know as soon as my 2020 S1000RR comes in I'll be having the clear bra done right off the bat.

Congratulations and you'll be very happy when you can explore the upper rpms. Feels like a big two-stroke up top.

Custom matte clearbra applied. It'll be fine. I found the EAZI Grip Pro clear pads to be much better than the R&G pieces.
