Say what you will. I love the look of carbon, dry carbon especially, but I also appreciate how the carbon composite spokes meet the carbon barrel.

I wish the spokes had some curvature, both from a lateral and profile point of view. Except I would guess those cosmetic changes would significantly reduce the wheels structural integrity, at least with the paper thin spoke design. The beauty in these comes from their dainty appearance.

Ha! carbon composite as an engineering material is pretty incredible for wheels etc but the carbon bling look is definitely overrated.

How strong are carbon fiber wheels compared to say stock wheels that came on a base 1299 or V4 or the forged aluminum wheels on the market or on the S models. Would they take a beating on the streets? Like say the NYC highways and their crappy roads LOL
