New Termi CF heat shield on stock exhaust?

Hmmmm..... Anyone have a diagram where all the bolts and washers are supposed to go? Having a hard time fitting it with the passenger pegs....

Ok latest news and I'm done for the night. Having a hard time fitting WITH passenger pegs. Where it would originally sit it would be to far forward and the rear of the shield would rest on the exhaust pipe. Seems like I would be able to move it back some but that would mean my pegs would have to go. Not really an option at this point in time. Probably gonna play around with it tomorrow or the next day to see if I can get it on with passenger pegs. If not.....might be up for grabs....:(

I haven't had passenger pegs on for months! Bike at heart, is not intended for passengers.

Yeah my pegs are always off but I'm going to IndyGP and gonna have my bestfriend with me...

cobra there are new pass pegs that came with the heat shield. the old ones arent long enough. i messaged you who to ask. he did it and can help you way better than i can. i also texted him just so you know so if you reach out he knows who you are.

Obviously this part is orderable by a dealer....I mean what if someone had to have this part replaced for warranty/insurance or something?

And to answer my own question about how to obtain this, I think I figured it out. Buy an R :D .

Now here is the thing. The metal shield touches the pipe on the rear left. So that also made me decide to wrap it as well. When I got it all together in order to put in the lower subframe bolt I had to push down on the subframe a lil bit because the metal shield was on the exhaust pipe. Do you guys think this is an issue for the subframe bolts or anything?

If anything I would think this could be an issue for the exhaust or the shield , not the subframe. I didn't check or remember but guys are asking for a part number, Wasn't there numbers on the box ? I thought it had a Ducati sticker on the outside with a part number for the whole kit , not just the bag of bolts. just asking

Love how it looks!

You know what, I'm gonna have to go dig the box up. Have no idea. Was so exited I opened it dumped all the stuff out and started disassembling.

I defiantly will!

I'd like to give a Big thanks to:

-mark419ny
-Duc1199

For making this happen. THANKS GUYS!:D

Looks great! Congrats on getting it to fit. You didn't happen to document and photograph the removal and install process did you?

Thanks. It "fits" lol. Yes I took some pics to do a small write up but dunno if anyone would be interested because A.) Hard to get B.) It "fits". From what I have been told it seems Duc1199's fits better than mine did. Dunno why yet.
Well here is a pic after going for a ride. What I thought was gonna happen, happen. Carbon burnt some where it rests on the pipe. Oh well....you gotta try! It's underneath and can't see it much unless you look under the bike.
As long as the sides stay good I guess it'll be fine untill I buy a full exhaust.
