Termignoni is to release a "dual" under the seat exhaust for the Ducati 1299 Panigale at EICMA show this month. The new exhaust is said to mimic the original "916" exhaust Termignoni had produced back in the early 1990's for Ducati Performance and the Factory Corse Team :)

If you are lucky enough to attend the event, they will be in pavilion 2 at booth O20

Sweet..can't wait to see it

Guess it might look something like the Termi on BSB' Shakey's panigale:

best to keep weight down and centered as currently, unless ur doing light as hell tiny cans, which the termis as per picture dont seem to be....

Those cans don't weigh that much. Plus the WSBK and BSB teams have all moved the cans that way anyway. Probably helps the powerband. I noticed that the first exhaust Zard did for the Panigale was an undertail unit, I suspect it was for the same reasons.

I'm sure it makes sense for the racer that's trying to extract every competitive edge possible but aesthetically it looks out of place. So, for the folks that congregate at Starbucks this is a fashion faux pas.

wrong: the high-up ones look more racey, to there you get more starbucks points

You must be hanging out at Dutch Bros or another lesser coffee shop to think that's "racey". Or someone has slipped a Mickey in you mocha latte crapachino :D

No thanks. The thing i love most about the pani is the under belly exhaust with the clean tail. Hard to tell but it would look very out of place i think.

Could not agree more. The org is so clean. I will give up the extra hp for the beautiful look of the org location.

At least with the Termi system we could use a normal belly pan for racing. I like the Termi's. I have a pair on my Monster 1200R (just slip-ons) and they sound awesome. I wish we could get that Akro system Chaz is running on his race bike. Yes, I can dream.

The question is if the new system on the SL is going to come out as an aftermarket option, I know that at least two guys are working on a replication of this right now

Yeah Chaz's undertail is crazy for sure.

I'd like to know if he knows something everyone else doesn't? Why does he have so much fork sticking out of the triples? No one runs them like that

I take that back.. Chaz's bike has the forks low too. Am I missing something? Why do all the club racers run them high af
