Took delivery of my 1199 last week and been riding every day. Love the bike and looking forward to clicking arou d the forum.

Theefiveoh do you get out riding locally much?

Yeah, I mainly do 94 rides and stay around the east county area's, Ramona, Julian, Sunrise Hwy., etc. I stay off of Palomar. After two totaled bikes, a few broken bones, and some pissed off Palomar residents I stay away. People putting gravel, sand, and pipes in the road as a deterrent to riders was enough to "deter" me. What model 1199 did you get?

LOL , I stuck a GSXR 750 under a guard rail while coming down Palomar in 92 !

Got the base 1199. I put the rear fender eliminator kit on it. I want to pipe it but I am waiting for some less expensive alternatives. I have the full Arrow System on my 08 Multi and its brilliant. So, we will see what come out in the next six months.

I just lost my number one cylinder on GSXR 750. Thats what prompted the 1199 purchase. I will be tearing the engine down this weekend to see the fault. I could see the valve shafts through the throttle body but no valve heads. They were gone along with the tip of the spark plug. Not sure what happened yet. I guess I will find out this weekend whe I get into the motor.
