Hi all,

This afternoon I was looking through an old copy of Fast Bikes magazine and came across the bike setup that Nicky Hayden used during the press release of the 'R' at COTA last year. Not sure if it has been posted here before but I thought I'd stick it up before I can no longer find the mag. It does state that these settings cause some instability in a straight line but benefits elsewhere, so if you are lucky enough to live near COTA (I'm not :() then here you go, give them a blast and see how you get on.

DTC: 2
EBC: 1
DQS: On
ABS: 1
Front Comp: 10
Front Reb: 4
Rear Comp: 6
Rear Reb: 8

Remember though, these are not my settings but one's I have pinched from a mag, so don't shoot the messenger!

Just remember that setup is for his weight, and he's a professional.

I had Jamie Hacking's old Graves R1. He weighs half as much as do, and the bike was still stiff.

Spend a few bucks (usually $50-$75) at the track, and have them set everything up for you. It does make a HUGE difference if you're riding a spirited pace.:)

Anyone riding at CoTA with RideSmart next month?

Hoping to make it to one or both September days myself.

He's got the front with an easy up valveing, he's getting it on the back wheel quick when he gets to the throttle, and that 10 compression means COTA must be very smooth.
