I feel like, last time i was shopping for helmets..the Shoei fit the tightest...do you reckon that is still the case bud? I use a MED for BELL, HJC and Arai...
Worried this LARGE might be too big...
But i also think Shoei will let you buy bigger internal padding just like Arai...

would appreciate your thoughts partner!

Id say you are right about fitment. The Shoei fits close in size to my Bell and HJC Medium. Shoei are also probably the best when it comes to liner interchangeability and have a full range of different thickness cheek pads ($30-$50) and liners to get perfect fitment.
