That sucks your friend totaled yours, I can't help but smile every time I ride the SF S it's a beast. My wife and I went to the Monster 1200 launch, my wife was looking at the bike as a possible new toy. The Ducati rep asked what I had, whe. I told him a 1199 and a SF S he laughed and told me I would be disappointed if I got rid of the SF for the monster. There is something about that bike

I had an SF for about 4 years and definitely miss that bike. I got a chance to sit on the new monster 1200 on Saturday though and I actually kind of liked it. Granted, it won't be the snorting snarling beast with the rattling clutch that the SF is/was, but it's pretty nice. I like how minimal the front cockpit area is. Hopefully I can get a chance to ride one and check it out.

Ya there is something to the refinement of the new monster, personally I love the street fighter the way it is, if I could get the dash display off the new monster on my SF it would be perfect. I love the snarling, dry clutch beast the way it is, I honestly can't see getting rid of it. Luckily I have a 1199 so it's a best of worlds scenario. Screw it we need to get a petition to get the beast back lol
