Ouch. How’d they break? Aftermarket stuff or just failure? If Ducati recommends a welder do they pay? Is it warranted?

It seems they broke from all the engine vibration and the mounts are OEM. Yes, Ducati offered to fix it with a 3rd party shop under warranty.
Your dealership should send a new part and warrantee it all the way if it’s OEM. It’s part of the emission system and is tightly controlled. If you run into any roadblocks, I’d let the dealership know that you’ll be contacting the CA EPA. And if they don’t do anything, contact the EPA and let them know of how Ducat is trying to bodge your exhaust system.

Yes, I agree, and have been asking/pushing Ducati to fix it with new parts and they've repeatedly declined. Thanks for the EPA info.

What CA dealer are you talking about? I had the same happened to mine and it was laser cut out (3rd part shop as well, and warrantied. I did hear they tried to kinda split blame but I just said no, not interested in hearing it).

It wasn't the dealer, it was Ducati N.A. that I referenced. That's interesting that you had the same issue - they told me that some others have had the issue, but they were all on the East Coast.

Which shop did the repair and how's it holding up?
