i would buy this any day if i had xtra cash in my pocket. R is R & SL is SL. its 2 different bikes.
@mordor: There where several articles in the local press. I just tried to get some hard facts from some eu legislative web sites, and i am completely f#*cked!!! These penpushers are completely insane!!
@bigboost: Import customs are crazy here, otherwise i would immediately buy this bike.
One sl for the road, one for the track, that'll be great!
@tcelano: I guess the new r will be really great. But there are also some cost driven compromisies compared to the sl that are not neglectable: Crankshaft, mag monocoque, rear subframe (it's really a piece of engineering art!), ti bolts and pieces, rear shock spring, etc.
Don't temp me! LOL I just put money down on a Dragster RR & will get it in March, but damn this is hard not to consider!
the RR looks freaking cool! I'm currently modding my GF's M696 to become the look of that bike. Not really difficult: QD exhaust, chopping the tail, kineo wheels. And upgrades plus bike's price are about the same price as buying a new Dragster. But far higher quality of the components!
I have a bit of a problem with the new "cheap" MVs: hard to pimp because a lot of parts can't be replaced easily because of lack of substitutes. And there are other things like non-hydraulic clutch engagement etc.
Buy the SL! then buy an old F4 and pimp it. Different worlds, but same entertainment.
