i purchased a new one.. obdstar iscan.. ducati only..specifically to bleed the abs... there is no abs bleed function.. you guys that have done this, might you be able to shine some light as to where this abs activation function is , ive looked on every menu and sub menu.. more than 7 times and its justy not there.

There is no ABS bleed function. I think people were speculating there was as a way to better bleed the brakes.

The best way I’ve found was outlined in a service bulletin. It said to fully seat the pistons in the caliper to get any trapped air out.

yea, i was told more than once, by owners of it that it did have the abs pump activation, maybe its just missing on this one, idk.. but with this pony unable to do the one trick i need it to do, i even emailed motomillion to ask specifically, and was told yes, obdstar told me yes it does, ...but i guess folks have been assuming.. i dont think i ever checked to see if my first obdstar had it, im not sure its been too long.. oh well....a regular code reader, can get me by for diagnosing and melco diag can reset the service indicators, its useless for my other bikes so i dont know if ill keep it.

pushing the pistons in...is actually what i did this time around on the rear.. worked well. thank you for the suggestion

i read on the site and was led to believe that the abs EOL function had other menus or functions in it, but it seemed like it was wanting to actually perform some action to the abs computer upon cycling the key off then on so i was hesitant, but in the end i gave in hoping it would expose another menu...but it did not, it did in fact perform some function which then popped another message about calibrating something or other, thats when i just about shat myself, I SHOULD NOT HAVE SCREWED WITH IT. .. a

so i put it back together went for a small scoot up and down the street, the first time i jabbed the rear brake the rear tire locked up momentarily then unlocked, each subsequent time i tried to lock it up, the abs kicked in in faster and smoother, so i did something i should not have done, lol.. it feels normal again...but curiosity killed the idiot i guess anyway thanks for the reply

Hmmm. I was thinking along those lines as well...maybe it clears abs control of adaptations in peparation for installing a new abs pump or something along those lines but im not a duc tech and dont know anything about this system yet..im trying but gettin real info is really hard ..

The message did mention something about recalibration but when i tried that it said someconditions were not met to do calibration..im guessing its because the wheel speed sensors had no signal yet and the abs lights were still flashing because of not moving yet..

Anyone who has more info id love to learn some more..thanks for the reply again
