OEM carbon exhaust tip for V2

The blacked out look is very nice. High heat spray paint would do but if you need the CF end cap, go for it!
 
Looks like anyone interested in this part is going to have to wait quite a while. I have searched online and called dealerships throughout North America for it but all I could find out is the supposed release date is October 1st. Then who knows how long until the shops can actually get them in stock for sale. More than likely this could be a Christmas present if we’re lucky! ☹️
 
Looks great, I am opting out for more can options. $4K for the Apra slip on doesn't make sense to me. Hoping for a SC can coming out soon at a reasonable price.
 
It’s going to be hard not to be able to ride my V2 for a few weeks...sending my exhaust off to @Phl for a full core and flow job. Going to save some weight and it should sound awesome for way less than any slip on for our V2’s

You will know the wait was worth it when you fire it up cold for the first time all back together. In the meantime you should polish up that exposed header.
Are you blacking out your exhaust or leaving it look factory? I’m also excited to see the exit area of the exhaust. Mesh or no mesh?

I can’t wait to get it back too! I am going to paint it all flat black to match the rest of the flat black plastic parts on the bike. Since the Ducati Performance carbon fiber exhaust tip isn’t expected to be available until October 1st (and possibly later) Phl is going to make me a titanium mesh screen to cover what will be a huge hole in the end of my exhaust as the DB killer is going to be removed along with that flapper valve too.
I would like the header polished as that would look awesome but I don’t think I want to tear apart all the parts needed in order to remove the pipe.
No doubt I’ll probably kick myself for not doing that after I put it back together
 
Worked it from 320 grit by hand up to 2000 then polished to a shine. Try not to get too OCD when your up close

now for the pipe that loops under the seat... polish that and buy a carbon heatshield cover. The never ending list of mods
