OEM tire life?

I believe a wee-strom might have been a better choice for a commuter. You might get 20k from a set of tires on that and you wouldn't be riding so far outside the bikes intended purpose. If you didn't notice, it's made to turn.

Checking back in:
2nd set of OEM tires (I ran 30f/30r the whole time, 100% street) started to blue and harden up at 1600mi. They are done for tight, technical cornering as the front is starting to slide but will get another 600mi of fast sweepers out of them.

So I average about 2200mi for completely shagged tires but near race-quality grip most of the time seems worth it so far.

edit: 3rd set of OEM tires sitting in the garage, will run those 30/30 too!
