OEM Tire wear analysis

My Q3's have 3,000 street miles on them as well as 3 or 4 full track days and they still have plenty of life to go both on the sides and the center. Junk pirellis will never find themselves back on my 1199 or HP4.

While the tires have come down in price from their extremely insane original price, they're still overpriced as are all pirelli tires. I picked up two sets of Q3's during dunlops rebate/sale for $186 a piece shipped to my door.(after rebate, yes, $186 front and rear). Sorry, but thats one OEM item i refuse to purchase again.
YMMV. Just my same .02 again.

I wonder how much of the front wear is due to the forks being softer than the shock on the Pani stock? I'm going to go down from a 90Nm rear coil to an 85Nm soon. I'll report back if it makes tire wear significantly different... :)

My suspension is stock spring rate and I'm 215-225lbs in gear depending on my alcohol and cheeseburger intake. Sag worked out right but just barely.

Nice vid! I'm a gear lower in sport mode with more lean and speed...maybe I just need to slow down. Or maybe the camera makes the corners look much wider than they really are?

Same here on a typical ride, had to keep this one close to legal since I posted it on youtube :D
