I have build a 1198 wet clutch engine for my 848 EVO. I tried using my 848 EVR slipper but wont cope with the extra power so i am using an MTS basket and a 1299 center.
I am trying to decide between getting a cheap 1299 EOM clutch or an aftermarket one.
Keeping in mind the 1198 motor does not have EBC so the slipper needs to work well.

has anyone got feed back from the difference between an EVR and an OEM Panigale slipper in an 1199/1299?
Aside from the benefits of the adjustment options.

EVR vs OEM on my 1199 track bike. I didn't really notice a difference under downshifting without rev matching, but my clutch discs do last a lot longer with the EVR slipper.

I have had the EVR for 6 years. I just built the bike with it so I never swapped for the OEM. The EVR as you stated is adjustable. You can play with the discs configuration and layout, the spring tension and you can get different ramp configurations. The downside may be for some a heavier clutch pull. If you’re not racing and don’t need these things, I would stick with the stock clutch.

Thanks,
Is the clutch pull unreasonably heavy? Or just like any other 5 or 6 spring clutch?

was there a reason you changed to the EVR?

With EBC at the max, my rear end would really move under braking/downshifting, I was hoping a better slipper would make it smoother, but ultimately rev matching was the only thing that really helped. Added a downshift blipper and that gave me smooth downshifting under braking.
