Morning all again,

I went to the Isle of Wight yesterday and found that gps connectivity in my phone was impossible. Also asked locals and they said the same.

Do any of you use offline map alternatives? Any suggestions?
Would like to do the North Coast 500 later in the summer and no doubt I will need it then.

thanks as always

I've had great experience with Here WeGo. If I remember correctly it's free, and the map download interface is awesome. Just select whichever country, state or city you prefer. I much prefer it over Google maps for driving. Never used it on a bike though.

I tried Calimoto. Not inlove with it.
Has offline maps - specifically for motorcyclists. It’s all about finding curvy roads instead of the fastest route. Ok well lots of curvy roads suck. There’s no sorting the good curvy roads. Hope they improve it. Good concept.
it’s easy to edit your path like google used to be.Gives data on speed tilt angle all that where speedtraps are.
Expensive annual fee too.
