I thought it was funny because my mate and I just got back from a 4 day biking trip around Tasmania. We rented V-Strom's with fat ass panniers like that and every time we pulled up next to each other, we bumped. There were a couple of close calls where we almost dropped the bikes but in the end, it turned out to be a bit of a laugh to do it on purpose. We were like kids in bumper cars. :D
 
I have bumped mine on my Beemer more than once. They are rarely mounted, so I am just not used to them being there.
 
I don't know what's more embarrassing, the fact it happened or that it has over 3.5M views
 
Being a boat owner 30FT .. I am amazed that the Marina actually allowed the guy to ride a back down there. Very unfortunate turn of events.
