Oil cooler recall

Good. I remember reading about a few members here having a nearly fatal experience, and I don't have the skills (or lives left) to put up with that. Thanks for posting.

There is a member in here that filed papers at the NHSTA on this problem. Looks like his diligence paid off.

It would be nice if Ducati would list these recalls on their Recall Campaign Information website. My dealer has informed me of the previous recalls for the fuel leaks and kickstand however, when I enter my VIN to look up recalls I always get this "No active recall campaigns for this bike".

What website are you speaking of?

I guess they update the website and the recalls have been done. Hence, the "no active"

I wish it was that, but it never works.

I've checked that page many times, before and after I had recalls done and it always showed no recalls.

Wonder if at least we'll get free oil change out of it .. or will dealers try to stick oil change parts/labor to us?

Same here, checked the website before and after recalls were done and always the same "No active recall campaigns for this bike".

I submitted the information to the NHTSA with photos of the two bikes in Europe and what appears to be a small leak on my oil cooler that I have been monitoring. Keep an eye on those input hoses and fittings on your oil cooler. I bet I'm on Ducati's .... list now:)

You're welcome:) I took photos on my oil cooler and the photos from the gentlemen in Hungry and the U.K. I believe the catalyst was the photo of the replacement oil cooler that clearly shows a modification to the oil cooler.

Look like it will roll out worldwide soon. Just checked on the recall page on Ducati's website and my UK V4S is due a new oil cooler. It seems that the braced new version will be rolled out on the 24th January 2019 for all affected owners
