Hello all. I've been researching the 19 V4S for the last few months while away "on holiday for Uncle Sam in Talibanistan" and pulled the trigger this week once jet lag was over. Lots of bikes have passed through my garage and there are still - I know it's heresy - a few Harleys occupying prime space next to the Panigale. I traded in a sweet Honda VFR800D and the deal was too good to pass up. Mods have already been ordered before CINCSpouse finds out "its not stock"

I'm still keeping it in Street Mode but admit I've blipped it into Sport a few times and oh my lord....

Any Duc riders in Northern VA let me know since owner's manuals are for the weak and the dash is, well, a frigging computer....

Any tips on a trickle charger for the anti grav lithium battery?

Yep picked it up on Monday from Coleman's in Falls Church. Barry in sales gave me a great trade in on my VFR and made it easy.

Stay with Dynamic suspension till you get the thing run in then when your better adjusted to the bike go Custom dynamic that way you can set the brake support and everything else by trial to see what suits.
Race mode is good but touring is what I leave mine in with dynamic power delivery with the DWC on 2 (leave yours on 4) DSC on 1 DQS on EBC on 1.
Run your tyres at the recommended pressure think its 33 front and 30.3 rear I got 7.5k out of my rear

If your running it in do it carefully for the first 1000 up & down no hard accel occasionally up to 7 grand on the tach.
If you abide by this then the extra 1500 is a waste as things would have bedded nicely but still I only wound it out in 1-2-3-4 a few times now at 8,500klm its open season.
According to reports the bike is at full power at 13grand so spinning to 13500 is better rather than 14,000+ is sorta counter productive in my eyes.
But hang on when you do they are blisteringly fast and just because it has DWC the front will still pick up quicker than the draws dropping in a massage parlour.
Changed the oil/filter at 1000 then at 6000 and then every 6000k thereafter, so enjoy the ride oh the fuel consumption will improve as the motor loosens up, fill the bike up vertical as you get more in the tank.

The other weekend I had a smack down with a bombed out Harley he had a good start ahead of me as I was actually riding behind him on a run when he decided to p*ss bolt.

So red rag to a bull we were off after a T junction guess he had 50 meters on me when I came around the turn and so off we went.
I did power wheelies in 2-3 which slowed me down but it "The Nasty One"(my bikes name) was soon reeling him in and in the Harley riders words afterwards,
"Here I was doing 200Kph when this red flash just flew past me like I had an anchor behind my bike."!
He asked how fast the V4 goes I said about 300Kph+ he said f*ck that I wont try and drag that thing again.
What till he tries it on against my bombed/up flashed 1199 Tricolore which is 10+ kilo's lighter than my V4 oh yeah then he'll see some dust.

Cheers from West AU
