@DarR I'm 54.
I have had each iteration of the Triumph Daytona since 1997 and I had one Ducati 748S which I loved and wish I never sold but dollars were needed at the time so the toy had to go.
I'm currently trying to make up my mind on getting the 959 Panigale Corse or the V4 Panigale but really a fairer comparison I think would be the V4S Panigale but I just don't know if I can justify the $10K price difference (959 Corse vs V4S).
Which ever bike I get once I get comfortable with it on the back roads I will also take to the track for non-competitive lapping so I will be following your track adventures with interest.
I guess it only makes sense to have this open to all Panigales. I was 60 when I bought the bike, I'm 65 now. I ride the bike 4,000 miles a year like clockwork and can't imagine ever wanting to get rid of the bike but I suppose at my age the day may eventually come.
My primary bikes are a 2015 BMW 1600GT, and I just bought a 2017 KTM Superduke GT (traded a BMW S1000R).
I threw my leg over my new 1299S in June 2017 ,two months before my 68 birthday , it was my birthday present ,to myself of course .
You're gonna kill yourself on that thing was the chorus I heard .Well I'm still here ,grinning from ear to ear . Reading your post though ,yeah ,that day comes for all of us .No matter how bad we want to stay in the saddle , one day we have to hang up our spurs . No more riding WTF ???
Just turned 89 .... also just changed my diaper that I have been wearing for a year now...
That Depends.......
