Sure. I'm just finishing a pretty in depth restoration on it so you'll have to bear with a couple of those pics. Last year I found two 1998 SPS's that had been hidden away in a storage unit for 18 years. One had only 7 miles on it. That's the one in the last pic. As you can see, the one I'm restoring with a touch over 6,000 miles will be even nicer than the 7 mile one. Did a complete rebuild with some special work done. It's amazing. It should be back in a couple of weeks.

I know right! Very nice lineup of bikes!! @KMY - that SPS is my dream bike, I still kick myself for not buying it then...

The SPS is a fun bike. Mine is one of about 50 that were sold new state side in 1997. Bought it from the original owner who had to sign a waiver that it would be for track use only. :p It has some Feracci go fast parts and internals and a midrange punch that's still impressive by today's standards. The best part is the sound!

(sorry to hijack the thread gnance, congrats on that killer SL!)

So Kevin, what is it another year or two before I get your 888?

We better have our money lined up by the end of 2019 then. ;)

Ha! I've been telling him that I'm ready to wire him the cash for 2 months now! How long can one KMY still stay enamored with the same bike :D :D :D :D ???

I'm sorry I can't sell you my 888 SPO LTD or this could be an easy deal.

But he's going to need to clear garage space for his fleet of V4 R's.

:D Ryan, I'm keeping my eye out. One will show up! Isn't it crazy how long a few months can feel when you're jonesing for a bike?! It will be worth the wait. Then your ULTIMATE collection will be complete!

Kev, I appreciate you. You know that when I finally find one, three other perfect ones will show up at the exact same time, right? :)

Haha!! I'm saving it for you my man. It's about time to start culling back the stable. Seriously out of garage space. I'll be sleeping on the lawn, but for now it's worth it!

If I'm able to make it down for CSS at Laguna this year I will have to stop by to visit.

Wait!!!! Aren't you the guy with MULTIPLE paniR's?!! :D

I will be letting the 15R that I've been prepping for a racebike go towards a friends defense of his Open GP Twins title this year. My leg says my racing days are over unfortunately.
