Hi Guys!

First post here in the forums, I'm racing an 899 Panigale this season and I was wondering if anyone has tried mounting a GoPro into the fairings like what is done in MotoGP?

Something like above? Anyone tried it on their Pani with a GoPro? :)

Think there was a thread on this. Seems like more of a PITA than it's worth. I prefer mounting on the tail or inside the windscreen. Also seen it mounted on top of the triple tree.

On top of triple tree allows side to side yaw when the bike squirms during hard braking and, God forbids, when you have headshakes, making for exciting video.

If you wish to look forward without the bike, just suction-cup the gopro onto the front of the fairing. Make sure to tether it to the bike or use plenty o ducttape just in case suction fails. i've done that no problem.

I wanted to avoid mounting the gopro on top of the fairing to avoid wind drag, And of course for that sweet factory look! I'm avoiding the top of the triples and on the tank mounting as last time I used it, it was bothering me too much. I couldn't tuck in too much due to the gopro being in the way.

@Cobra700 do you have a link of that thread? Or something I can search? Really curious

This is my track mount. No wind dragging at all and awesome videos so far.

^^^ Where did you get that mount? That is a pretty sweet looking setup!!

How about mounting it right on the nose? I basically just want it to be somewhere out of sight. I'm a really picky rider and all the smallest things bother me. Hahaha

I have thought of a off the wall way.

It is mounting to the front faring shroud under the head light housing where the headless front stand mates up.

Using a ram bal mount and a home made extension pulling the video to a full face of panigale.

I am unable to fiver out how to post a photo from flicker.. Sorry

That sounds very interesting, can you atleast send me a link to your flickr so I may see the photos? Sounds like a good idea!

That's also what I am wondering about, Sutki. My bike is stricly a track bike and having a accident due to a GoPro during a important race would suck

I low down front forks about 7mm, and front tyre allready touch radiator cover (plastic piece in center) hard braking in track..
