Hello

I have been having this overheating issue with my 2011 diavel lately.

The temperature goes above 118 degrees on high revs but remains below 107 when left to run on idle.

Fan works fan, drop the temp when idle but when in motion, temperature just continues to climb.

Any advice in the house?

Thanks

Banks

Have you checked your coolant level?

Ducati Diavel Service Manual: Checking the coolant level - Maintenance operations - Maintenance operations

It's possible you may have overheated and vented/overflowed some of your coolant and it's been an issue ever since.

If low, top it up - and rock your bike back and forth to help it work through the system. Then run the bike with the radiator cap loose to work out any air in the system.

Top it up again and take it for a ride to see if you're still having issues.

Check to make sure it's the correct coolant type. I have a 2012 and that happened to me before the coolant recall. One day it just stopped cooling the bike and after I had it flushed and filled with the correct coolant. It was fine
