Had this issue pop up recently...couldnt find much online other than this website...wanted to share this learnings in case someone has similar issue in the future.
P0050 code was HO2S Heater Control Circuit - resolved by replacing the O2 sensor on Vertical Piston. (engine light clear as soon as another sensor was plugged in, the access is on RIGHT side of bike for both V and H pistons.
